Research Options

 
Product Information
For techniques on how to search, please see search options available in the tutorials below. Once the clean working space (N) is filled with a product search, more details can be viewed by clicking into the short product description text.

1. For extra information on a product, waiver left mouse button over the product name.
2. The next screen to open will look similar to the diagram below, showing all the product information.

Product information available: 

i. Product name
ii. Product code only 
iii. Price exc. GST (if logged in on your member account)
iv. The product description only - shows the product name, brief verbal description of the goods, recommended serves per product, product size, storage recommendations, serving suggestions, used bys, prebooking time, star rating; some information may not be presented, in which case the maximum information available is displayed.
v. Photo of goods, which may at times look distorted in the "thumbnail" view. However the image can be enlarged by clicking the image itself ot the "Click to enlarge" text option under the photo. Images are increased to approx 10cm by 16cm on your screen.
vi. Manufacturers logo and a link leading to other products from the same manufacturer

Reviews & Recipes
1. Left mouse click over this button. The system shows you a new page and will appear as below. 

2. To then see the reviews and recipes, click on the member's name who lodged the report.
3. If you would like to add a review or recipe, select  button on the bottom right of the screen; you will need to be logged in to your member account do this.

4. Enter your review/recipe in the text field provided. When you are happy with your entry, click the  button to record it.
WARNING: Once you click the  button, your review will be approved immediately and you will not be able to edit or delete it.

Add to Frequent Orders

By clicking the  button, this product will now be available in your Frequent Orders screen, meaning you will not have to search for this product again.

Add to Cart

1. Should you be interested in purchasing this product, click on the  button.
2. The next screen will show asking you the quantity, or how many "boxes", you wish to purchase. Do this by over-riding the number displayed in the quantity text field; be sure to click the  button to record your changes. The quantity also changes in the shopping cart list on the right hand side; see below.

3. Click the  button to locate more products to add to your cart.
4. Once all products you wanted to purchase have been selected, click the  button to proceed to the checkout. Find out more information about using the checkout.

You can view products and later change the quantities again by accessing your shopping cart. To access your cart, click the  white arrow next to the "Shopping Cart" text along the right margin. Alternatively, you can click the  button, located on the brown bar, below the main navigation bar. Learn how to manage your shopping cart.

B - Manufacturers List 
Please Note: Before beginning tutorial, please refer to the diagram to locate the working space (N) in the centre of the screen, allocated for your search results.

Located in the top left of the Order Store screen, the manufacturers list function allows you to search products listed to a deliberate supplier if you know the manufactureres codes. The three digit manufacturers codes link throughout Gippy Gourmets Product list and invoicing.

1. Click on the blue arrow next to the "please select" text (,) to display the manufacturer drop down menu.
The drop down menu features all manufactureres codes in numerical order beginning with "101".
2. Use your mouse to scroll up and down the drop menu. Once you have selected the appropriate manufacturer, click your left mouse button over the manufacturer's name. The products registered against the selected manufacturer will be shown in the centre of the screen in the working space (N).
